Pre-K students are making free-standing paper penguin sculptures. They are learning a variety of paper folding and attaching techniques making their penguins come to life!
Pre-K students are learning the technique of collage. After reading The Rainbow Fish, students created an undersea collage.
PreK students listened to the story, "The Big Pumpkin", by Erica Silverman and made witches! The witch is the main character in "The Big Pumpkin" who wants a pumpkin to make pumpkin pie. The story teaches the value of teamwork and the lesson of valuing everyone, and finding help in unlikely places.
PreK students have worked on name collages, made a design for their portfolios, and experimented using watercolors and resist techniques. Next up, we are making an alligator using recycled materials!
